Signs of low t in men

To all of you, get out. I too have had 2 relationships with men like this. They treat you like a princess at first and then when you make the commitment they will turn into a different person. Yes it will be good for maybe a week but they will allways find fault in you. You will never make them happy, ever. I have cried myself sick, but know I couldnt live like that anymore. It is not you, it is them. If they are emotionly abusing you they are also verbally abusing you. You do not deserve to be yelled at or put down for anything! It hurts but you will get over it in time and feel good again. Trust me I have been out!!!!!!!

Dry, brittle hair that breaks or falls out can be a sign of hypothyroidism. Too little thyroid hormone disrupts your hair growth cycle and puts too many follicles into "resting" mode, resulting in hair loss—sometimes all over your body including at the outside of your eyebrows. “Lots of my patients come in and tell me that their hairdresser sent them,” says Dr. Miller. “They’ll say, ‘My hair stylist said I’m losing my hair and I needed to go ask my doctor about my thyroid.’ The hair salons are more aware of thyroid problems than some doctors!”

An overactive thyroid can also do a number on your hair. Hair issues due to hyperthyroidism typically show up as thinning hair just on your head.

4. You're depressed and/or anxious.
While low testosterone likely isn't the sole cause of anyone's depression, research shows it could also have a hand in the disease. In a study of women, ages 25 to 46, those with low testosterone were more likely to be depressed. Other research shows that women with prolonged testosterone deficiency are often both more anxious and more depressed than women with normal testosterone levels.

5. You have a weak grip.

Osteoporosis, which causes weak bones, is often considered a women's disease because low estrogen is a key factor in lost bone density. But research shows that low levels of testosterone can leach strength from your skeleton as well, according to Harvard Health . Both men and women who have low levels of testosterone are considered "frail" partially because they can no longer hold a firm handshake. For most women, lack of estrogen will be the main reason osteoporosis sets in, especially following menopause, when the hormone drops dramatically. But replacing estrogen may not be enough if testosterone is also out of balance.

Hello my wife has been having these same symptoms. We Have tested for fibroids and also thyroid issues and everything has come back negative. We also have two small children and they do add stress. This has caused her libido to fall off. She also has breast tenderness almost all month long along with 7 – 10 day periods. He first question is how easy is it to measure progesterone? I heard that it can vary dramatically through out the month. Or could be normal but her estrogen could be too high. Also the potential side effects of taking a supplement or a drug could cause harm. What are the consequences of taking any kind of drug or supplement?
